Inspired by tonight’s programme on BBC4 I am going to learn to do cryptic crosswords.
I’ve had a long-life resistance to them (owing to my parents being so damn fast at them during what could have been formative crossword solving years) but I am going to try again. It looks so satisfying. And all crossword setters seem to have an aura of calm about them.
I am also going to be a better correspondent and both write and send letters more regularly, rather than carry round half-written postcards in my bag, unsent.
And good news: Publish2 are close to releasing better link publishing for Wordpress.com so soon this blog could be much improved, in terms of automated but customised links… looking forward to it!
